Strategies for Aging Well — Let’s Talk About Balance

Grace Church and River Forest Township are hosting a program on fall prevention on Sunday, October 3, 12:30-1:30pm on Zoom. The presenter is Margaret Wente Danilovich, PT, DPT, PhD.

The presentation takes place on Zoom, but for those who do not have internet access, Grace will host a limited number of people to watch the program in person on a large screen. Please call Grace (708-366-6900) to reserve a spot.

Dr. Danilovich is the Senior Director of the Leonard Schanfield Research Institute and the director of the dual degree program in public health and physical therapy at Northwestern. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Concordia University, River Forest, a doctorate in physical therapy from Northwestern and a PhD in Public Health with a focus in Gerontology from UIC. Her research focuses on exercise interventions for older adults with frailty and is funded by a variety of private foundations and the National Institutes of Health. In addition, Margaret serves as the organist at First Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chicago.
