Social Ministry Committee

Our intention is to awareness about people and organizations in need and offers opportunities for Grace members to support them through fundraising drives. This includes providing meals to the homeless, food drives, a school supply drive, creating Welcome Kits for foster care children, a Christmas gift drive, the Adopt-a-stocking project with the Night Ministry, and a collection of mittens, gloves and winter hats.

Grace’s Spring Food Drive: May 3 through June 14.
The Social Ministry Committee is collecting non-perishable, unopened, unexpired food items including pasta and sauce, canned meat and fish, cereal, peanut butter, and canned vegetables. Please place items in the bin in the Atrium. Children enrolled in Vacation Bible School will divide up the food for Beyond Hunger, Forest Park Food Pantry, and Harmony Community Cares Food Pantry. Last fall, we collected over 1,000 items and delivered a full carload to every participating pantry. Our goal this spring is to exceed that impact. Thank you for your generosity and help in feeding those in need.
