Book discussion about “Good Inside: a guide to becoming the parent you want to be,” by Becky Kennedy

Grace Church and School parents and families have the opportunity to gather for a book discussion about Good Inside: a guide to becoming the parent you want to be, by Dr. Becky Kennedy. The author is a popular psychologist known as the ‘Millennial Parenting Whisperer,’ and the book is a groundbreaking guide that offers a new approach to parenting as well as practical solutions — all done in a way that feels good. Dr. Becky’s empowering and effective model prioritizes connecting with our kids over correcting them. In Good Inside, she shares her parenting philosophy, complete with actionable strategies, that will help parents move from uncertainty and self-blame to confidence and sturdy leadership. The important topics raised by Kennedy are centrally applicable to God-seeking families with children, and we are glad to host this conversation.

Discussions will take place on November 5 and November 12, from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. in the youth room, facilitated by Joanna Schubkegel. If you have questions or would like to join the group, email Joanna Schubkegel at jschubkegel@graceriverforest.org.
